As We Still Don't Have Forum Specifically About This OutBreak: USEFUL INFORMATION:

Limited sanitizer and bar soap? Try this:

I filled a large bowl with water and clothes washing detergent, wash my hands, rinse them off and coat them with Cetaphil.

This post is about using what you have at hand, I don't have bar soap..zilch, I'm not going to the supermarket for one item, I hope everyone here is taking the advice of many of limiting your exposure!

Have you discovered Any useful advice or procedures that might be useful for Duers?, not just about soap!

You?

because it does a better job. Plain soap and water is all you need, soap to disrupt the coating on the virus and water to wash it away to die of exposure.

Hand sanitizer is only a stopgap solution when you're out and can't wash your hands. It doesn't kill all the bugs or wash them away. Some of them survive and just get rearranged.

Hi, Sanitizer is better vs bacteria. Soap, water and scrubbing is what best tears up the viral shell. Proper hand washing, how many times does this have to be mentioned. Santizer is a distant second best.

Next time you go out, look for bar soap. And figure out how to keep it dry, in between uses.

Even before this crisis, I had bunches in my house.

If you’re really in need, pm me. I’ll send it to you. I’ve got plenty.

“How many bars do you need?!” She used to say, because I had it stocked up in my bathroom.

I have Dial, Ivory, Irish Spring, and many more of the organic types I buy at Whole Foods.

Lots of liquid ones too. Happy to share, and no, not with a price. If you end up in need, I’ll send you some.

And my soap is available on request lol. My mum must be rolling her eyes somewhere, lol.

Been like this since a kid. 5 types of shampoo, different soaps...probably a type of OCD. But I like being clean, so that’s all good!

We’ll all get through this!

Of Dawn dish washing soap last time he went to Costco. We definitely don’t need that much as we use dishwasher.

I thought if I run out of soap, since dawn is concentrated I would mix some with water and put in my hand soap bottle.
