yesterday 1000 new cases by the time I went to bed (near midnight). Today, 1000 new cases by noon.
AND - with undertesting, this is surely a "best case scenario".

There are probably a million cases of the Coronavirus. This 5600 now are simply the count of positive tests. Most people aren't being allowed a test.
