Q: .. "no straight answers for why more people haven't already been tested"

White House officials still have no straight answers for why more people haven't already been tested for coronavirus.

"...pull technology, push out those tests". So the tests are sitting somewhere and hospitals etc. have to order them? WTH?

if the truth gets out someone gets fired. I know people like these press events, but I don't understand the value of spreading lies, and pissing people off. There is no one to set the record straight. The lies are repeated. It never ends.

Testing is only a piece of this but to me it’s a canary in a coal mine. They’ll continue to fumble around. Until they say something like we are ramping up to 100k tests per day by the end of the month and tell is how many to expect now and by the end of the week they are lying.

That’s why testing is so important to me. Until they report on that in detail every day they are just lying.

We can’t build treatment centers or buy ventilators overnight either. But if they can’t even figure out the logistics on testing how will that happen? This is the longer lead time stuff they really ought to be planning. Hope we don’t need it but get the logistics moving

It looks like the response is going to be fragmented depending on what state you are in. That means it will take longer to get through to the end of this. Seems like the end of self isolation should be connected with the ability to do adequate testing.

How do you ship tests out randomly? They need to manage the supply/demand. And there is no fucking way hospitals are forgetting to order tests.

These mother fuckers. There is a supply problem and they are trying to disperse blame to the thousands of hospitals.
