They go on and on, condemning something they label as "panic."

It isn't just "conservatives." I.expect "conservative" anti-intellectualism. I am no longer shocked by their ignorance but when good liberals partake in it I am surprised.

That's the way we should all be going about this. I've had some symptoms, which could very well be allergies, but because of the lack of testing, we will never know. Even running into people I knew at the park yesterday, we all kept our distance. i've only gone to the store when I can check to ensure there is stock in what I need online, and thankfully the ones I went to were relatively empty. I also go to the self checkouts and use my sleeve or gloves to work the pin pad. We really, really, REALLY need to stay away from each other until we are able to roll out adequate testing. Some people are testing positive for several weeks.

I'm barely in the risk group, so I'll be fine. It's just knowing any one of us could be walking around spreading this if we choose to be careless, or even if we don't. Kind of sobering.
