why is Cuomo on again? and for so long?

..im near Seattle and our Gov gives regular and comprehensive updates on local news..not msnbc. I dont mind a quick update about how other areas are handling it but maybe not soooooooooooooo much airtime to one locale?

Anecdotes about his childhood. This is not informative for the rest of the country.

I read it as complaining about Cuomo in general. I now believe it taking issue with national news outlets covering the entire conference. I can see the annoyance.

aren't doing, and what may be coming in the near future.

He's also speaking directly to the president right now... about how he can help all of us.

He's expressing the anxiety of the country directly to the president.

Bloomberg Radio also thinks his press conferences are more important than the president's, judging from how they cut out on Trump and cover Cuomo in his entirety.

I've gotta give it to him that he's about 100x more presidential than dipshit.

He's on the real problems and coordinating real solutions, micro and macro (between states).

So, he's helping, and giving us all (across the country) reason to hope that this might not be as catastrophic as it could have been.

I have listened to him both days and I'm in Wisconsin. Just two truths he's talked about that need talking about:

He's addressing daycare and working parents and the fact that our school day is such that it's basically daycare for working people. I have never heard a politician admit that.

He's also talked about how many kids in NY and the rest of the country also get most of their sustenance for free at school. Absolutely true and an absolute disgrace in this super wealthy country.

because most everyone who works for any of the networks or cable news work and live in the NYC area? Just a guess. But I agree, way to much air time.

is managed. When politicians get up they just talk like they would in a board room. They have no idea what the public's attention span is and how it translates to airtime. Nobody is directing.

19. Yes! There is no reason to give that much air time to one area.

I yearn for the old days in some ways. Back before cable news. When I got my national news right after the local news. The Walter Cronkite era. There needs to be a balance.
