He's giving a presser now, taking full responsibility for his actions, like shutting down schools, restaurants, etc.
I find him so honest, thoughtful and refreshing, making me realize once again how much leadership is missed.
Props to him: NY is lucky compared to other states.

(4,845 posts)I gained a lot of respect for him when he said that. He specifically said a lot of the county officials are receiving calls with complaints of the closures. He said it's his decisions alone and it is not the other officials fault. This is what a leader is. He took all responsibilities.

(9,524 posts)presser about a week ago and last Friday announced all schools closing. Oregon not that hard hit yet but they looked ahead and took action.

(146,317 posts)Cuomo is doing. He held a press conference yesterday, laying it all out. It seems like Demoratic Governors are taking this epidemic by the horns and doing what is needed to limit its impact.
It's good to see, even though it's a PITA on an individual basis.
