of things and in contact with the WH to inform them of what they should already know and be doing.

Our governors are driving this vehicle because the effin guy who's supposed to be in charge is just full of gas but doesn't even know where the road is or how to steer.

immediate suburbs).

Cuomo is showing the difference between competence and incompetence, Democratic approach vs Republican, knowledge vs ignorance, governance vs play acting.

We've got 7 confirmed cases in this area. I lost track of yours, 2 the last I knew. None confirmed in my immediaye area, but many people go back and forth between here and Buffalo several times daily. I assume there are hundreds not diagnosed yet.

Erie Co. Executive (a Dem) and Public Health Dept are superb on keeping us informed and chewing out folks and businesses who do not comply with social distancing.

I expect there to be more by the end of today. Testing is ramping up somewhat, so that's good. Mayor Warren has also declared a state of emergency. The county has really been stepping up as far as information and updates. Adam Bello is our new executive - whew, what an introduction to the role!

your last few were tested in Erie Co, but you now have your own testing ability. So both counties can do more local testing and numbers will rise.

are lucky, but it's not luck. We put him there, the right.person for the job. That's what responsible voters do, choose the competent candidates.

Must be rough in the NYC region right now. We have some cases here, but the setting in NYC increases the chances of transmission. The degree of public transportation use, busy (until now) airports, and sheer numbers of public gathering places. I've only been to Manhattan and Queens, don't know much about the Bronx and Westchester.

Spirits keep going up and down, which I think is natural in a time like this. Luckily we live next to a park, so we can go for walks when it's nice out. That helps immensely.

Life will get back to normal soon!

But I gotta give him a lot of praise as he's performing exactly like all the Democratic governors. Early work on it, regular updates with people, bringing out calm, clear information. Operating as a classic northeastern Republican. He didn't get my vote but he continues to impress.

Can't stand him on anything else, but on this matter he has been way ahead of the curve - even ahead of most democratic governors.

We have a fabulous director of the Ohio Department of Health, and he has been letting her run the show.

This is no time for partisan politics - and as to this issue, DeWine is as much a leader as any Democratic governor I've heard of.

In press conferences he allows the scientists to explain the details and seems to be following their recommendations.

We have to remember not all republicans are as stupid as trump. They all have deplorable goals. But are not all stupid.

I think Biden wins here in November in part because the comparison between him and DeSantis are profound. And the Obama coalition won here twice. But I think DeSantis will be tough to beat in 22 since it is off cycle.

She was one of the first to order schools closed.

Of course, the orange idiot had to tweet nasty things about her, probably because she showed him up.
