How would you feel if I told you there is a Gov't emplyee who was paid over $19 million last year?

Knowing how the current events are having a real and serious effect on millions of Americans, how does it make you feel to know that there are Government employees making almost twenty million dollars, all of it on the taxpayers back?

Who could it be? There is no way anyone on the Federal payroll is making that much money.

Wanna bet?

It was just announced that SHE was retiring! Yes, a woman who is, for all intents and purposes, employed by an arm of the federal government had a total salary package for 2019 of $19,244,636

Marillyn Hewson of Lockheed Martin. Remember when Trumpy called her "Marilyn 'LOCK---HEEEED'_" ??

Same person. And here's why I say she is an employee of the government.

Because even though Lockheed Martin is a publicly traded company that you and I can buy stock in, virtually every single red cent of their revenue is as a result of a Department of Defense contract.

All of it. Every fucking dime is YOUR tax dollars, and therefore, every cent Marilyn walked with last year came out of YOUR pocket.

Now...guess how many products Lockheed Martin makes that you or I or your Aunt Judith can go buy? Any ideas?

NONE.

They don't make ANYTHING you can buy without a DOD purchase order in your hand. That doesn't make them a private manufacturer, it makes them a part of the arsenal of the government, and they are paid handsomely for the privilege.
Cool, huh?

I could go down the list of the top ten Defense contractors and find the same situation at the top of every one of them.

And I absolutely guarantee that there will be an excuse for why the government can't pay other government employees if there is a shutdown of everything.

Oh, and FWIW, a few years ago a former Navy Admiral retired from General Dynamics with enough awarded company stock that he had a tidy nest egg of well over $200 million. All of it your money.

as she’s taxed according and the company’s products/services are competitive with other companies.

Now, I’d be fine if we severely cutback on the weapons, etc., and declare war on cancer, viruses, Alzheimer’s, etc.
