Rep. Louie Gohmert is holding up the House-passed #coronavirus relief bill and stopping it going to the Senate for a vote.

The bill includes free testing, 2 weeks of paid sick leave, paid family & medical leave, and support for food stamps & unemployment.

The technical corrections package has not yet been finalized and the House wants to pass it by unanimous consent because the House is on recess this week.

If one member stands in opposition, the House can’t send the bill to the Senate without bringing the entire House back from their districts to Washington for a vote

I just tried to go to his website, so I could tell him to turn in his Texas card and resign immediately for being a coward.
It asks for your zip code, and sends a msg that says “not in district”, if your zip is not in his district. What a small man this is.
