Why the fcuk do right wingers care so much about who marries who, who sleeps with whom and how we do it? How the fuck does it affect them if I sleep with and/or Marry a man or woman, be they black, white, striped, purple with polka dots, zippers, buttons, Catholic, protestant, Atheist,Muslim, Jewish or sells shoes ? It's a sure bet that they're going to do whatever the hell they want to do, regardless of what we think, (although they do have that nasty habit of MAJOR Hypocrisy).
Is the sun going to stop rising if my neighbor decides he loves men? Or members of my Church includes, (gasp) married couples who aren't the the same color of me or (i feel faint)..."RACE MIXERS", (whatever the fuck that means)?
As long as they aren't responsible for the care and upkeep of others, dammit, what makes rightwingers think that they have a God given right to dictate to others how they should live their lives? With a VERY few exceptions, people are decent and treat others with respect, so why would anyone feel the need to control the lives of others? Especially when theirs are so dysfunctional....I'm not going to give any names but a few of their initials are Sarah Palin,Pat Robertson Newt Gingrich...but you didn't hear that from me. 
Why can't people be left alone to live their lives quietly and happily, living and loving the way they want? why can't people be allowed the control over their own bodies? I don't get their constant focus on the sex lives of others...is it because they dated courted and married the people OTHERS wanted them to and now they're miserable as fuck with children they may not have really wanted? Is it because they're raising children in dysfunctional homes who'll turn out to be as fucked up as they are?
What I do with my life and in my home is between me, my God and whatever human being I'm dealing with. I don't tell you to stop getting those fucked up haircuts or your wives to stop bleaching their hair so light that it blinds people on sunny day, why can't you just leave decent Americans alone? Do we point out your propensity to behave INAPPROPRIATELY, (to put it delicately-I'm being nice here, people), with children, yours and others, on a constant basis? There are so many things we could , JUSTIFIABLY, point out on a daily basis but we don't? Know why?
Because, we're too busy trying to ensure a good life for everyone, including your ignorant asses, a life where one doesn't have to worry about going hungry , (or being poisoned by the food that you buy). We're' working to help Americans, even you, from being bled to death by corporations who pay ungodly amounts of money to CEO's who do next to nothing except attend shareholders meeting a few times a year and take two martini lunches 5 days a week, while at the same time, providing lousy service and products. We're working to try to insure that the planet is livable for EVERYONE-yeah, yeah, we know you don't believe or care that mother earth is in trouble- and that every human being has access to clean and AFFORDABLE water, (my God, I can't believe I said that because drinking water should be next to free in my eyes) .
We on the Left, as a rule, believe in live and let live. As long as it doesn't involve a child, an animal, an unwilling partner or my husband, we don't give a damn what you do behind closed doors. What you do with your wing wong ,hoo-ha or whatever the hell you have or where you put it, is totally up to you. If you choose to hump everything in your house, you know what? If you like it, I love it! What I'm trying to say it lets start working on and worrying about what really matters. You're so worried about Sharia law being imposed here, (although I just don't get how that could EVER happen but color me stupid), and can't seem to see that your most radical members are the I-D-E-N-T-I-C-A-L counterparts. You're screaming about the Taliban and can't see that the crazy as hell hard Christian Right are their Brothers and Sisters in Arms.
You need to know that no matter what you say or do, people will continue to love and live their lives as THEY CHOOSE!! You sure as hell know, though I'm not holding my breath that you'll ever admit it, you going to do the dirty in whatever way and with WHOMEVER you choose, our opinion be damned.
So, stop focusing on things you really can't do a damn thing to stop. Hell, in places like Saudi Arabia, Iran and Afganistan, people not only cheat on their spouses on pain of death. Not only that but they have "the Gay" too and guess what? The threat of death doesn't stop them, they're just on the 'down-low". Get it?
Please start living what Jesus taught by doing things like, (oh I don't don't know), like making sure orphans, the sick, the lonely and the old are taken care of. For that matter, let's start getting a little equality on the playing field. Stop screaming communism or Sociailsm anytime anyone other that you guys asks for a slice of the pie.
And, while I'm on the subject, back in the 50' s and 60's, we were part of the "RED Menace" or commie pinkos. Now, you wear read and make it the main color of your fake news central, FAUX news... WTF? I don't get it. Make up your mind but I digress.
Funny that it's okay for you to have a network that ensures you a goodlife or access to some of the best medical treatment on the planet, (in the case of the senate and congress members) without having to take a mortgage to pay for it but cry bloody murder when the people who sent you their want the same thing. REALLY??
If you must concentrate on my coochie or my man's "junk", how about making we have the means to feed the body it's attached to and the medical insurance to take care of both. Up nights worrying about what people are doing behind closed doors? Why not refocus that worry about making sure they have doors to do things behind. Otherwise, please check into getting some sort of help for your sick obsession with other people genitalia or how they use them. I'm sure there's a mental illness somewhere in there and there is help and hope. As a CHRISTIAN, I want you to get better and live up to the principles you claim so exclusively.

We let people live their lives. That's why they hate us.
if they oppose marriage equality for gay people, then they are wolves in sheep's clothing, so to speak. A TRUE progressive believes in freedom for all. I posted a rant on marriage equality a few days ago that points out how I feel about this point. Look for my post, "I'm a multiracial woman, of primarily African descent and I am VERY happily married...". Many former republicans crossed over during the Bush years, (Ed Schultz is one of the most well known) and although they've changed alot of their beliefs, they still have alot of their bigotry. BlueNorthwest, I live in what some term as the far southern tail of the northwest, (The northern Sacramento Valley of the northern california) and I experience bigotry all the time. Just because they say they're progressive, doesn't mean they are.
The so called "faith" they use to justify keeping you from getting married is the same one they use for me and my marriage, (I'm mostly black and my husband is a white texan of Eastern european heritage). We're in the same boat. Those Democrats who hold these beliefs ARE NOT DEMOCRATS. Trust me. the same people who have legislated away your right to marriage are the same people who want to make my marriage illegal. It's the entire reason why I started of with 'LEFTLEANING progressives or PEOPLE who REALLY CARE". I'm on your side, Bluenorthwest and I UNDERSTAND more than you'll ever know.
