US COVID-19 cases spike almost 500 cases in one day (took 2 months to reach 1000)

New #COVID19 US cases per day: it took 2 month to hit 1000 cases, but we hit almost +500 just today.

becomes a virus transmitting vector that can infect dozens of people through social interaction. The "real" number of infected people is likely much larger than is being reported at this time.
