My son says schools just closed, and my granddaughter's prom scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. I know it's a major disappointment, but it was the right thing to do. La. has 36 cases now, with 23 being added in the last two days.
Not a good time to stroll down Bourbon St. and have beignets at Café du Monde.

I can't help but wonder how many people currently feeling ill and self-quarantining were there.
Of course, since we're only testing the tiniest fraction of people experiencing symptoms, we will probably never know.
The three cases announced yesterday may prompt others who were there and aren't feeling well to seek tests. Hope they are able to get them.
