Here is what Trump might do in order to avoid having to defend his lies and incompetence.
... Trump & his family could announce that he is not running for reelection, and open up the election to others in the Republican Party. This way he can say that he does not want to discuss the past and concentrate on the next 9 months that he will be President of the U.S.A. He will not discuss reelection because he won't be running, and he will not have to discuss his mistakes, because he will be out of the office and someone else will be the President.
... He will say, "I will totally concentrate on dealing with the crises we currently face, and not deal with anything else". Yes, he will leave the White House quietly and with his family. It is the only way that he could regain some respect and dignity. And since he does this without being told and not being escorted out by force, it might work. By not running, his family could also gain respect, and the name might not be totally destroyed. The world will sigh a breath of great relief, and Trump the idiot will be totally gone on Jan 20, 2021.
...Of course this will not happen, but this is an, "Idea for General Discussion". That is what this forum is all about. Maybe a very tiny chance. Oh well back to cleaning the house..
