The Worldometer site is updated hourly.

For example the number of US cases is now 2074

They used to be in agreementment within hours, with the worldometer being first - but things are moving so quickly know ...

I took a screenshot I took earlier when it read 1,701 cases. It now says 1,268

Another dreadful factoid:

2,547 new cases and 250 new deaths in Italy. Highest number of deaths per day in the world ever (including China at its peak) has been reported in Italy in each of the last four days.

Worldometer appears to be updated almost continuously now.

The situation in Italy is described as "catastrophic triage"
Basically people are being left to die.

New cases in Spain rose by 2086
Their hospital system has not been overwhelmed yet.

I fear that the US like Hubei Province and Italy, will not be able to cope the with numbers. Without ventilators, people will be left to suffocate with pneumonia.
