Waiting for a buyer's market that didn't seem to really come. Until it did. We just bought some stocks I've had my eye on and got a great deal.

Being on hold for 2 hours may have been a blessing in disguise for you. Personally, the last thing I'd do right now is sell low, but we do have a few more years before we need to draw on our retirement accounts, so YMMV. The Trump Slump won't last forever.

I need some emergency cash to pay my Cobra premiums if I become unemployed.

I will be on Medicare at the end of the summer - if I live that long....
