Last night supermarkets were practically empty. Tonight shelves are being furiously stripped.
Many people are doing the self-service checkout.
Oddly few shoppers wiped down their carts upon entering the store and mostly people are up close to each other.

Came for my favorite cocoa but ls I was too late.
The dried beans shelves are empty. People seem to be buying foodstuffs they don't usually eat-fear of being sequestered for months or years.
Sheer madness-most shoppers probable have not ever washed their hands.
I am sitting it out until the lines melt away and treating it like I am watching a 3D horror movie about the last days. It is strangely entertaining because at least people are still smiling.

store (very similar to a Trader Joe's) no more than 2 hours ago, and it was essentially business as usual. No observable shortages of anything.

Scary that stores are running out of food so fast. I'm gonna be forced to do my prep after April 1st. There might not be any food left by than.
My chances to eat next month will go down because I am not rich enough to buy now. The rump wants the poor, working poor and disabled to die because of money.

and no longer need to buy in bulk. At that point, the stores will have the chance to restock, and business can resume as normal. In fact, you may be hitting it perfectly in April.

Good wishes...
