I hereby offer anyone a bet on the coronavirus.

2003: "There are WMDs in Iraq!"

2016: "The Deep State tricked the GWB-administration into thinking there were WMDs in Iraq!"

2020: "The coronavirus is a hoax!"

2021: "The Deep State tricked the Trump-administration into thinking that the coronavirus is a hoax!"

Trump et al will need to blame someone for his abject failure on this matter during the run-up to the November election. Look for Trumpland to blame the experts at the CDC (who, btw, they have been ignoring and silencing) come autumn. Trump has already repeatedly tried to blame Obama.

system. It's basically going to end up being a case of let it go, whoever gets it gets it, and we treat as many as we can. Only those able to pretty much isolate themselves through it will be safe.
