The virus couldnt have hit at a worse time for Trump

If it had hit a year ago we might be close to a vaccine. Handing out the cure to people right before the election. trump saves us from the crises!!

if it hits a month before the election, trump can bullshit his way through until his #MAGits re-elect him then all hell breaks lose and he has 4 more years.

We are in that in between sweet spot where its only going to spread and get worse and probably wont be close to a cure in Nov.

And even worse trump and his cronies have no way to control this narrative and spin it from DC and from fox/AM hate radio.

Every time a new Governor holds a press conference in a new state and puts out the facts, thats another nail in trumps coffin.

**EDIT**

you guys rock. i didnt even think about trump using this to either voter suppress with the russians or outright cancel the election because of the health emergency.

...isn't this a ready-made excuse to suppress voter turn-out?

this would be a good talking point for the russians to try to scare the hell out of people from going to the polls.

time to start pushing lots of absentee ballots?

Trying to postpone elections will be overtly obvious as to the motive, with a net consequence of even more turnout to dump the large segments of the GOP establishment when elections do happen.

If by chance I end up a victim, I hope to be part of the backlash that ultimately destroys him as a candidate and motivates prosecutors to bring the already pending charges against him that end his freedom.

I will be motivated to do whatever I can to survive long enough to register my vote, should that happen.

I find it rather ironic that after all the completely incompetent, corrupt, and openly malevolent shit he has pulled for 3 years what may sink him in the end is largely out of his control.

I think we can manage, even if we have to vote with a mask and gloves on.
