An amazing story of a good Democratic business owner..

Robert Levin sold his family owned furniture stores to a large conglomerate two years ago. When he sold the 35 stores, he gave each of his 1200 employees thousands of dollars in their 401Ks, depending on the number of years they were employed with Levins.
The corporation that bought Levins recently announced that they were declaring bankruptcy and would close the Levin Stores. Robert came out of retirement to purchase the stores back and save over 1200 jobs. This is unheard of but this is what a good person with a heart and soul does (did I mention that he is a good Democrat?).
I grew up in Mt. Pleasant, PA, and knew his parents They were good solid people and would be so proud of Robert for doing this.

A good Democrat is what a member of the Democratic Party is called. You don’t call them “good Democratics”.

Another story: I just read that Bob Moore, owner of Bob's Red Mill Flour, just retired and sold his company to his employees. I don't know what his politics are and I didn't read far enough to see how much he's getting out of his deal, but he grew his company from scratch and more than 200 employees are now owners of the company. You see stories like this now and then. It would be great if there were more of them.
