ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) A Florida police department wants you to know that if you have recently purchased any illegal street drugs, you can bring it to their station to get it tested for coronavirus.
The Atlantic Beach Police Department posted the PSA on their Facebook page last week. The tongue-in-cheek post issues a warning that if you recently bought cocaine, meth, heroin, or any other street drugs in their area, it may be contaminated with coronavirus.
The police department goes on to urge those to bring their drugs to the police department for free testing. If youre uncomfortable going to the police department, police say they will come to you in the privacy of your own home!

It's Florida, so at least 7 people fell for it.

(17,549 posts)I was traveling on Interstate 10 and approaching my exit. Just a hundred yards short of the exit here was a big flashing sign in the median announcing " Caution: Sheriff's Drug Check Point Ahead." I though, how strange, until I exited, and just out of sight, there were dozens of police from different agencies, complete with school buses and tow trucks to haul off the people who decided to take a quick exit to avoid the search. My wife and kids were with me, and an officer checked my ID and saw that I lived nearby and let me pass without having the dogs come sniff the car. The cops were all happy and smiling, they were having a hell of a fun day!

Wouldn't expect anything better from cops anyway.
