4. That's because, the shortage of test kits story is bull shit.

They don't want to add to the numbers, they are trying to make it look like they are doing something, all the while tossing these stories out there to slow down and even avoid confirming cases.
Shortage of test kits, faulty test kits, we don't want to overwhelm facilities, it is excuse after excuse.

8. NY Governor Cuomo has gotten approval for NY State to run its own Coronavirus tests

which will be processed in a NY State lab. He's also ramping up NY State's ability to produce the tests, aiming at 1000 being tested and processed per day.

But that, especially in China, was very close to when the virus had been identified, so it's not so surprising. By now, the USA has had plenty of time to make and distribute them.
