Her conclusion: we need stimulus now, but with a debt and deficit so high, it'll be hard to get through.

Jubilee = debt forgiveness
Relatively young professional working folks would no longer have the monthly payment for student loan debt but would have the same income and are in the home and family building stage so would spend much of the extra cash.
The spending for goods and services would stimulate and have economic multiplier effects on the economy.

(8,785 posts)that can be staged (not all debt forgiven at once or at all, targeted debt like those in medical field or debt over 5 years or so on).
Surprised that a like concept has not bee offered up by a candidate (like Warren or Sanders).
