My local representative lost by 100 votes.

100 votes. 100 votes. We lost a Congressional seat by 100 votes.

Let that sink in for a moment. Orange County had an overwhemingly liberal majority last year and now we nearly lost all the gains we made by small margins to ultra conservative Trumpster Fox News heads. I'm really upset by this. This is the exact thing that happened in England that allowed conservatives to gain an overwhelming majority. If it happened there, it can easily happen here.

Low voter turnout is exactly how the cons win and how such incompetent representatives and senators keep getting elected and reelected.

We have to get out the vote. And every election matters no matter it's local or national. All elections have consequences. Get out the vote.
