Hundreds of falsified voter registration applications received in Lake County
https://www.wesh.com/article/fraudulent-voter-registration-applications-lake-county-florida/31229695
Lake County Supervisor of Elections Alan Hays said someone has been changing the party affiliation for some registered voters.
At this point, we have identified 119 applications that appear to be false. We have turned those over to the sheriff's office, Hays said.
Hays said last Tuesday, his office got calls from voters who'd received new voter registration cards reflecting a party change which the voters had not made.
Hays said the majority requested a change from no party to republican or from Democrat to Republican.

I checked her voter registration. Ayup. Republican
The Sheriff's Office on Thursday said have established probable cause for a warrant to be issued for the arrest of 63-year-old Cheryl A. Hall, of Clermont.
You would have to ask that person, Lake County Supervisor of Elections Alan Hays said during a news conference on Wednesday. I wonder myself. Ive wondered quite a bit. Why would someone do this?
...
Thats not all his office discovered, workers also found registrations with falsified birth dates, social security numbers, and signatures.
...
Hall turned herself into authorities on Thursday afternoon, at which time she was served with the Lake County warrant that charged her with 10 felony counts of submission of false voter registration information. She was booked in with a total bond of $20,000.

(54,434 posts)2. The penalty for this kind of thing should be more than a slap on the wrist
I don't care if the perp is a 63 year old woman or a 25 year old hot rodder. This kind of thing will only stop when there is a five year minimum sentence for electoral fraud. Of COURSE they are always Republicans, and of COURSE they will send out expendable sacrificial lambs to do this kind of low level dirty work.
I don't care. The available pool of sacrificial lambs will dry up fast when they find out the penalty in store for them if caught.
Hallelujah!

Three people were arrested Monday when Lake deputy sheriffs found more than $60,000 in drugs and more than $40,000 in cash while investigating a domestic dispute, deputies said.
Cheryl Hall, 59; Nicole Shefchick, 28; and Douglas Neth, 29, were arrested in the incident on various drug-related charges.
Deputies were called to the Clermont residence, on the 14000 block of Yellow Pine Lane, in response to a domestic dispute. While investigating, deputies were told by Willie Hall that there was a large amount of narcotics in the home, deputies said.
Cheryl Hall, who deputies said was the homeowner, met them at the front door and refused to let them in, an incident report states. Willie Hall stated she wouldn't let law enforcement into the home because of the drugs, the report states.
