Who the hell cares who our nominee is if PUTIN is running the election. Again.
I hate the useless media.
Not one peep.
These people are obviously working for Putin too.
Yes you Nicole.

(25,473 posts)He's essentially running unopposed. At the moment, he's not the news and we should probably be thankful to get a break once in a while. Plus, if people haven't figured it out by now, they don't intend to.
As for "who the hell cares who our nominee is", the voters clearly do, and if they show up in November in 2018 blue-wave numbers, it's going to be a lot harder for Putin to do anything about it.

Not one mention.
If the election is rigged, our nominee could be Jesus Christ and we would lose.

(58,785 posts)The Republicans accept Russia's interference because they've become totally degraded, corrupted and treasonous and will do anything to win.
The story of the century is Russia's occult war on the United States, much of it waged on the battlefields of our elections. And here's the typical coverage: _________.
We're in the middle of a giant battle for power. All Americans need to understand that some candidates in both parties are being used as weaponized assets against us by Russia. Voting for them is not only potentially incredibly self injurious and devastating to those we love, but it's incredibly unpatriotic and unbelievably stupid for anyone who would have to live in the destroyed nation Putin is trying to make of us.

Of course thoughtful journals, like the Atlantic and Foreign Policy, do articles. And our Democratic leaders can force some news coverage, like when they just demanded Trump admin impose new sanctions on Russia for interference in this election.
Here's the beginning of CNN's spin that the real problem is that intelligence officials sounding the alarm and causing TrumpCo to issue outraged denials is just political brangling that's undermining the people's confidence in their officials.
I guess in this context of media-assisted denial my post does sound rather shrill. Certainly not that a lot of help is needed. After all, the people being hurt so far in our nation's accelerated decline are mostly those "born to suffer" anyway. Oh, and of course a lot of our young people. But that's not me, or you.

Every day has its own imperatives.
You want some obsessive to say the same thing every day until we all tune out? Probably not a good idea. Russia will resurface among the good journalists, it can't be avoided.
