Wapo: "a White House scrambling...defined by bureaucratic infighting, confusion and misinformation"

Interviews with nearly two dozen admin officials, former White House aides, public health experts and lawmakers portray a White House scrambling to gain control of a rudderless response defined by bureaucratic infighting, confusion and misinformation.

Many HHS employees fretted that financial concerns, rather than public health considerations, were dictating the administration’s response, one admin official said.

In a year there will be so many books about this walking shit show. Hopefully none of these people will ever be hired again. That’ll be the only way they can make any money.

I read in Time mag today that they kept it pretty much quiet for a month but we've known about it for two months and what did the fucking moron's admin do, nothing! What are they doing now, next to nothing, just more lies and BS (I repeat, how is China that much worse?).

and he hasn't done that (yet). He has only been firing whistle blowers, threatening careers/jobs of health officials and muting people. He'd better call his handlers for more dictator tips.

All there has been has been pettiness, infighting, and confusion. He’s been treating the WH like a trashy reality show.

in terms of destroying the Federal government results in bad consequences sooner or later. It's just that it's usually later, because the government has been robust enough, or the consequences take long enough to show up, so it's difficult for most 'Muricans to connect cause and effect, especially because the news media usually doesn't track stories over long periods of time.

In this case, the malfeasance and its negative consequences follow closely enough that the GOPee can't rely on the passage of time to obscure the results of their dysfunctional governing style.
