Brief Summary of todays events.

Lead in: Coronavirus in the US had it's first causality. First it was a woman, then a man, woman then man.


Trumps second presser to update us was to start at 1:30, he keeps us all waiting as he always does. More press coverage for him.

The presser was a farce. He lied, Pence lied, the experts were most definitely muzzled.

Trump faced criticism from reporters Saturday for his previous comments on the outbreak. At a political rally in South Carolina on Friday, Trump told supporters that Democrats are using the virulent coronavirus as a "hoax" to damage him and his administration.

Trump clarified his comments Saturday, saying that, by "hoax," he was referring to Democrats' claims about the virus, not the virus itself.

Trump said the coronavirus was a "tough" issue that "has become very, very important to everybody."

Vice President Mike Pence spoke at the news conference: "The threat to Americans, of coronavirus, remains low, despite today’s tragic news from Washington State."

About an hour later: Presser

The first known death of COVID-19 is confirmed in Washington state. Health officials are also investigating a possible outbreak of the virus at a nursing facility.

The man who died was a patient at EvergreenHealth in Kirkland. He was admitted with serious respiratory issues and tested positive for the virus. He was in his 50s and had underlying health conditions, according to Dr. Jeff Duchin with Public Health Seattle & King County.

Patients at Life Care Center:
The other two new patients are connected to the Life Care nursing facility in Kirkland.

One is a woman in her 40s who is a health care worker at Life Care. She is in satisfactory condition at Overlake Hospital and hasn't had any travel outside of the U.S., Duchin said.
The other is a woman in her 70s and a resident at Life Care. She is in serious condition at EvergreenHealth.

Gov Jay Inslee calls a State of Emergency as more than 50 other people at the care facility are ill with respiratory problems.


We already know that this will target the elderly. They are the most vulnerable.

Thank you Gov, Inslee. It is pretty clear this is now a states issue when the piece of filth that is suppose to be our commander in chief does not give a damn for this countries people.

7. There was a multitude of lies told today

Several journalists asked tRump directly about him stating that the virus is a hoax the night. He backtracked and lied in front of everyone.


I really wished his followers would wake up already.
