Is this true? I wonder if there's some expert or hospital or lab somewhere that has an estimate of the number of actual cases in the US, as opposed to the number of cases that have been detected.

(14,961 posts)test, they don't add to the numbers the last thing Trump wants. He keeps going out there and lying about the numbers, today he kept saying 22, when there are 60+.

(86,775 posts)That is correct! We don't have many testing kits and they aren't testing people quickly. That first homegrown case in WA wasn't tested for something like TWO WEEKS and then the test processing has been limited to a few facilities and there's a queue for that.
This is too incompetent for me to accept it as genuine stupidity. I'm becoming more suspicious of how and why this is happening. It's like the lack of infrastructure to address such a situation was was intentional.
