Harvey Weinstein never made it to jail today after being found guilty on multiple accounts in his New York rape trial this morning. Instead the disgraced producer is currently at Manhattan’s Bellevue Hospital.

Having left the Criminal Courts building near the Big Apple’s Chinatown this afternoon, the already hobbled Weinstein complained of pains while in the ambulance on the way to Rikers Island. On route, the onboard medic made the call that the now convicted sexual predator required greater professional treatment and told the driver to head to the First Avenue hospital.

Weinstein seemed to be having heart palpitations, a source close to the producer tells me. But they added too, he suffers from high blood pressure and that could be playing a role as well as his other aliments.

I think he was truly having a panic attack. The realization with those cold cuffs on, that you are not in control and that you have not been exposed to the kind of environment you're about to enter and it's scary and unemphatic.

Too damned bad, he deserves every scary moment and all the pain he feels.

20. It is no surprise he had heart palpitations.

His blood pressure was probably elevated and respirations up. POS was probably sweating, too. We’d all be feeling like that if we had just been told the verdict was guilty. But tough sh*t, Buck-oh. He did the crime so now he has to do the time. I hope they give him a quick once over at the hospital and declare him okay to head for jail. That is fair that he get checked out, but now it’s time to start being an inmate. No more games, Harvey.
