Someone on twitter suggests that Adam Schiff be our presidential candidate.

Is that possible to engineer now?

He is the perfect one to take on Trump. And the perfect president to represent America to the world.

Can you imagine the freak-out in the WH if that were announced?

Trump would be seen running down the middle of the nearest highway, screaming at the top of his lungs. He would not live through such breaking news. Oh,...….

He chose the Constitution over Ambition.

Schiff is AG under Warren (fingers still crossed), or Feinstein's replacement.

How I was hoping he would announce his candidacy. The only saving grace is that he's so effective where he is and doing what he's doing.

Might someone tap him as their VP candidate?

Maybe someday...

Say Schiff with somebody that would please the progressive wing of the party - Stacey Abrams?

but, I can't see him starting now to actually run for president.

... he is irreplaceable at this level of integrity and competence at his current position. His departure would create a dangerous vulnerability to his position and the fate of our country might depend on this powerful position more than it does the actual presidential office.

He know full well that Trump would use it to promote the conspiracy that Schiff pushed impeachment just to clear a path for Schiff to become president. That's absurd, but Schiff knows how these conspiracy theories take on a life of their own.
