with Brian Cranston. He was quite the remarkable man.
But mainly it showed, and this is two years before our plunge into Trumpian Fascism, that the American Right has always been tyrannical and oppressive with little attachment to reality. The rail against non-existing threats while allowing true problems wallow without action.
That and Fuck John Wayne and Ronald Reagan.
A side note is that the recently departed Kirk Douglas helped end the Blacklist by hiring Dalto Trumbo to write Spartacus and giving him screen credit. He was a true hero.

The restored version corrected that injustice.
