BREAKING: Judge denies Roger Stone motion to disqualify her, issuing a scathing rejection that concludes it lacks any factual or legal support and that it appears to be a statement for public consumption that includes the words Judge and bias in the same sentence.

Let's treat Stone the same way.
Hey, while we're at it, how would the judicial system treat a young Hispanic woman who stole $2M from a charity? Let's treat Trump the same way.
But heaven forbid we suggest that justice is applied differently to different wealth classes...
the entire situation with the Betrayer's felons is maddening

This is why justice in this country is not fair. Most people can't employ lawyers around the clock to mess with the justice system like stone and trump.

(42,703 posts)She will decide his motion for a new trial. And assuming she denies it, and he appeals his guilty verdict and/or the denial of the new trial motion to the DC Circuit, she will have to decide whether to revoke his bail or continue it pending his appeal.
By way of examples: Blagojevich was ordered to start serving his sentence while his appeal (which ultimately was granted in part) was pending. However, Rep. Jefferson was convicted in 2009, but was not ordered to report to prison until 2012 after his appeal was denied.
I have no idea what Jackson will do in this instance.

Stone still thinks he can control events. Arrogant, much?
I believe a certain notorious cell has been repainted and is available. The cameras still haven't been fixed, and the guards are still as inattentive as ever.
