through?

When I learned to drive a million years ago (in a stick shift), I was taught that you switch off your engine when you're filling up. I don't see anyone enforcing that these days.
Even the folks who own the gas stations are lax re disaster prevention and basic security.
Over nine vehicles were burned here, one guy died and several others were injured.
Who sees gas leaking and doesn't get the hell away from that situation? Some of these lunatics stayed in their vehicles in the lane to fill up while gas was leaking all over the effin' place. Others ran clse to take pics and record the fire.
Then you have to watch the jackasses braying on TV about their Jebus saving people.

Recently a gas station attendant was shot and killed not far from here. That's where we buy gas. Turns out the poor attendant dared to challenge a rogue taxi driver about filling up a few days before and driving off without paying. He was attempting to do the same again.

into the line of parked cars right in front of the cameraperson. I was surprised how close people were when the fire was at its highest and there explosions going off.

Its the same here. Some guy the next town over mistakenly put the pump hose into a vent hole on his boat and pumped 40 gallons before he realized what he did. The fire department was called to neutralize the gas and clean it up.

And I haven't been to the big station up the street that there hasn't been a pickup filling and running while the driver was buying cigarettes or using the restroom.

People are getting more stupid.

When I go into the big grocery store there are ALWAYS cars running with no passengers, while the driver is inside shopping.

because they can't bear having to wait until the car cools down or warms up. Ignorance is bliss.

You're lucky the pick up truck guy wasn't smoking as well.
I've seen idiots using cell phones with lightning and thunder all around them.
