That isn't why there is RU interference around any candidate. What Putin's objective would be at this point is DIVISION.
The more the supporters of different candidates insult each other, pout up with, "Never", the more Putin licks his chops. So don't show me outrage over Putin if you're going to, in the next stroke, attack a candidate or supporter. Division is the objective, so deny him the goal.
We know a little about the goals of RU interference from leaked IRA chats, objectives and former trolls who told us what they were directed to do. They could have cared less about Trump or his supporters, Stein or Sanders either...they wanted us to fight instead of unite.
I know there is more for me to learn about the IRA objectives, but with the leaked Shaltai Boltai docs and more, I know enough about what the IRA objectives were and we're falling into the same trap in 2020 as we experienced in 2016. Heads up, America, its ours to lose.
