MI-SEN: Gary Peters holds small lead over Republican challenger.

In Michigan, Peters had a small lead over John James, the presumptive Republican nominee, in a new Quinnipiac University poll. Peters is at 45 percent, to James’ 39 percent, the poll showed. Both are above water in favorability, but remain quite unknown to voters. 43 percent haven’t heard enough about Peters to have an opinion, and 51 percent haven’t heard enough about James (845 registered voters; Feb. 12-18; +/- 3.4 percentage point MOE). Quinnipiac also has presidential general election head-to-heads between Trump and leading Democrats in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
