Trump is trying to push the judge to grant Stone a new trial just days before Stone is set to be sentenced.
Donald Trump is once again meddling in the criminal proceedings against his longtime political ally and former campaign adviser Roger Stone, this time demanding that the judge in Stone's case grant him a new trial.
Trump made the demand on Twitter by quoting Fox News personality Andrew Napolitano, who said on "Fox & Friends" Tuesday morning that a juror on Stone's case was allegedly biased against Trump.
Trump tweeted:

So now he wants to intimidate a judge..............................I really hope that she tells him and Stone to go pound sand......................
November 3, 2020 cannot get here fast enough...................unless we go into the streets first

(86,660 posts)pardons for which the intent is to cover up or is associated with, not sure which it actually is or would be, are not valid and cannot be issued.
I need a fact check on that, though.

The rule of law is well worth fighting for. Trump and his stooges are making a mockery of that rule of law.
Without it, this country is doomed for certain.

(86,660 posts)doing the latter. I suspect the only way to deal with this is to just have a week long walk out. Sow them who make the wheel go 'round. They work for us so we may have to pull the plug of industry upon which they depend... and soon.

Stone so Stone doesn't rat him out and so that he buffers the negative public outrage with this foundation that Stone got a raw deal.
Stone, Flynn, Gates, Manafort etc were convicted or entered a guilty plea - most of them multiple times.
12 people unanimously convicted Stone on nine counts. Bias becomes an enormous reach when 12 people convict on nine different crimes.
Trump has to do it because Stone will fry him if he doesn't. Ditto Flynn. Manafort may be moot because they've got him on state crimes even if Trump pardons him.
I think it's pretty obvious what Trump is up to. They're blackmailing him because they've got the goods on Trump.

(6,538 posts)as to why this juror popped up and made this admission...it has become their best bet to wiggle free. What were Trump et al doing to the jury which may have caused these unusual remarks from the forewoman?
