(1,054 posts)He had a horrific crash in the final lap. The race was postponed from yesterday due to too much rain.

(1,054 posts)The crawl at the bottom of the screen said the injuries are not life threatening. Fox didn't show him being pulled out of the car, only the crash and after with the car inside down, on fire and gas pouring out. Rescue team put out the fire and then Fox cut away. The cut was obviously needed in case it got gruesome but the cut made me fear the worst.

(630 posts)I don't know what to expect, but that impact in his window net is as bad as it could be. I wasn't watching ( trump) but have fond memories of Newman when i was an avid fan.

Daytona Beach, Florida (February 16, 2020) Ryan Newman is being treated at Halifax Medical Center. He is in serious condition, but doctors have indicated his injuries are not life threatening.
