Earth had enormous water mass? It only had something like two exposed continents. In time the earth lost some water due to evaporation and removal by the solar winds, and more landmass got exposed, along with the two large continents breaking up into smaller land masses. Just the geological history of the earth over 2 plus billion years would result in land mass that will show signs of having at some point been submerged.

7. My Absolute Favorite Part Of The Ark Encounter?

The fact that last summer, the owners submitted a claim to their insurance for flood damage.

This monument to stupidity is only a couple hours away from me. I've driven past it a few times, and you get to see the signs for it with the big dinosaur head poking out of it (yes, they claim there were dinosaurs on the Ark).

I read a couple of years ago that if you go by the dimensions stated in the Bible, you couldn't have gotten every species of BEETLE on the Ark, let alone 2 of EVERY species. The fact that Evangelicals actually believe what is clearly a bullshit story (and it's just one of MANY bullshit stories they fight to the death to defend) just goes to show you the intellectual level their operating on.

Want to baffle an Ark believer? Ask them what the animals were eating. Did the lions eat the gazelles? Did the herbivores have any kind of plants to eat? What happened to their.........waste? Were there penguins and polar bears on the Ark (considering Noah would have had to have made two stops at each pole of the Earth to collect them)? How about kangaroos? And when the flood waters receded, and there were only 2 of every animal left, how did they repopulate the world with animals? Were they all horribly inbred?

The Holy Land Experience is laying off most of the employees at its Orlando property — 118 people — in a corporate-wide reorganization that puts the future of the biblical attraction in question.

Earlier this year, Holy Land announced it was ending all stage shows at its property visible from Interstate 4 at the Conroy Road exit.

On Friday, the company notified the state about just how vast the layoffs were going to be, accounting for all its workers who perform in shows or support the productions, cuts that would encompass “most of its employees and positions” at its 4655 Vineland Road property. Laid off employees were also notified Friday, according a letter sent to Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the state.

The layoffs would take effect on April 18 and employees should expect the layoffs to be permanent, the notice said. Among the eliminated positions are 43 actors and musicians, 17 guest services associates, as well as numerous techs, retail employees and food service workers. Workers will be offered severance based on their seniority.
