Republicans love to call themselves values voters. And I agree with them, however,

when I look at the behavior of so many GOP voters, especially their voting behavior:

I see voters who voted for a man who has cheated on all of his 3 wives.

I see voters who voted for a man who has been sued for non-payment of bills over 4,500 times.

I see voters who voted for a man who has declared bankruptcy 6 times.

I see voters who voted for a man who openly solicited aid from a foreign Government during the 2016 campaign, and again in 2019.

I see voters who voted for a man who speaks of his sexual feelings for his own daughter.

I see voters who voted for a man who bragged about entering a dressing room to watch young teens undress.

I see voters who voted for a man who has lied over 15,000 times.

I see voters who voted for a man who came to fame partly because of his racist attacks on President Obama.

I see voters who voted for a man who paid so his porn star mistress could have an abortion.

I see voters who voted for a man who demonstrates every day, and with every word from his mouth, that he is a narcissistic sociopath with literally no redeeming qualities.

So when these values voters support such a person, what values do they demonstrate?

Now they're out and out evil. MAGATs blindly following that ridiculous, bloated POS and the rest of the party in Pootie's pocket.

They demonstrate what happens to a society when one malevolent media outlet controls the thought processes of a large segment of the population. Lenin knew. Göbbels knew. Roger Ailes certainly knew.

For it takes an even greater power of persuasion to bring it to rest.

Many of these racists are obviously quite convinced that white people are being persecuted.

Convincing them that they are the unjust oppressor is like telling someone who feels completely healthy that they have cancer and need to start chemo. They just don't comprehend that they could possibly be wrong when they neither see nor feel any proof to the contrary.

And even when they are being victimized by the 1%, they are convinced that the rich are not to blame. So they blame non-white workers.

In theory, Trump should be the last candidate that GOP "values voters" would support. What these authoritarians really value is power.
