These individuals bravely did what is right, despite their livelihood being directly or indirectly dependent on Trump's whims and fury.

This stands in sharp contrast to cowardliness of the Republican Senators who do not even indireclty depend on Trump for their livelihood, who voted nearly unanimously to refuse to hear witnesses, and to acquit despite overwhelming evidence (and acknowledgement) that Trump was guilty of the counts he was accused of.

That about says it all.
