Even if democracy in the us doesn’t. Climate change is the existential threat. We can’t do enough about with republicans in power but I’m not sure we can do enough in any case. Mass migrations will cause mass conflicts. No country is immune.

Climate change is the biggest underlying threat, but Trump is standing in the way of trying to do anything about it. He either causes or encourages the things that make our lives worse.

The other problems are magnified from his ineptitude.
A real president would try to make a positive effort.

He is actively making every single one of those things worse, along with the rest of his enabling republican cowards.

Many economists are suggesting a combination of factors currently have us sitting on the verge of a deep recession. The collapse of the U.S. dollar would lead to unimaginable suffering here.

The other thing that comes to mind is a rogue, significant nuclear event which could come from several sources and likely would trigger a severe global economic downturn and possibly a world war.

The greatest non-imminent threats are climate change and the massive global economic inequality that currently OWNS the GOP and other right-wing political groups around the world. Both of those appear to be non-reversible trends.

Other than that, running out of coffee would top my list........
