3. True. I confess, I counted valentines in Kindergarten.

It was a first smack at being unaccepted, for whatever the reason.

5. I didn't know that was a thing

I grew up in a very small town, and we didn't have kindergarten. it was just a given that everyone would give everyone a card. I do remember that we had somewhat of a contest for the best Valentine box. I never won, but it was fun anyway.

There are so many kindred souls who don't receive any.

6. So true, and I want to say to them

They're all my Valentines in my heart. I appreciate every (legitimate) member here, even those with whom I may not 100% agree with sometimes. I know we're all ultimately on the same side.

7. I've tossed out a basket full tonight and it made me smile each time!

Everyone should try it. And it’s a pleasant way to fund our home.
