James Comey Responds to Trump
February 7, 2020 at 4:10 pm EST By Taegan Goddard

James Comey: “Yes, as usual, he called me a sleaze and scum and a dirty cop and said he likely would no longer be president if he hadn’t fired me. Although I still can’t follow the logic of that last bit, it doesn’t matter.”

“The important thing was what happened in the audience, where there were plenty of intelligent people of deep commitment to religious principle. They laughed and smiled and clapped as a president of the United States lied, bullied, cursed and belittled the faith of other leaders. That was the deeply disturbing part of the East Room moment, and should challenge us all.”

Even Trump’s campaign has mentioned how their internal polling showed a big turnaround post-Comey.

JUST the right states to enable the EC to trash our "one person = one vote" mantra FOR THE BENEFIT of the turd...

Sorry, I may be a LOT of things, but an idiot, I am not.

Those who were screaming "OH, it is NOT POSSIBLE, CAN'T BE DONE, Russian only hacked TWO states' election database and systems, and besides, they can't CHANGE VOTES", when we now know they hacked almost, if not EVERY state, are enablers, too. They provided cover so that the extent of the cyber warfare was minimalized. Votes can be changed by preventing people FROM voting. It only takes a few people in each district, with thousands of districts, to add up. It will never be noticed. Computer programs can figure that shit out.

And we have to admit, OUR hackers are nothing but clueless, amateur wannabes, who don't give a shit about our country. THEY should have dealt with the situation for us.

Hillary won by a HUGE number. SHE is the de facto President Of The United States. She's NOT, only because of the cheating, the treasonous REPUBLICANS, PUTIN, rightwing media who broadcasts LIES as truth, and the fact that many Americans are absolutely consumed with hate, desperate to "OWN" the "libtards", and anyone who even slightly appears "other", in order to boost their own self esteem.

We need to keep repeating that Hillary WON the presidency. THAT, and the FACT that OBAMA is the most popular president ever.

Play the game on his level.

It will eat him alive.

been wrong -- very wrong -- if Comey had "broadcasr" his October 28, 2016 letter to Congress. But, of course, he didn't. The republicans in Congress did.

It's important that people remember things accurately. One friend here insisted he saw a bews conference where Comey announced the FBI had re-opened the investigation. Unable to convince my friend that he was simply wrong, I suggested that he find it on youtube. Obviously, he could not. Yet he remained certain he remembered something that never happened. The mind is a curious thing, and sometimes combines memories of two things as one.

Had Comey not informed Congress, he was aware that the NYC nest of retired agents -- all loyal to Rudy G -- were aware of the "new" batch of e-mails being found on the computer of the husband of a top Clinton aide, and were prepared to leak it to the news.

Fri Feb 7, 2020, 06:07 PM
Feb 2020

He didn't have to open an investigation on the Russian meddling in our election and whether or not the Trump campaign was involved? The IG found that the investigation was credible when it was opened, regardless of the mistakes in the FISA process.

Although the Mueller investigation did not find a conspiracy with the Russians, they did find dozens and dozens of instances of collusion. In fact, they discovered that Donald Trump was attempting a deal with Russia to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, even as the campaign was going on, and some have suggested it continued after his nomination, and maybe even after he became President?

That may not have been uncovered if Trump had not fired Comey? Comey refused to give Trump his loyalty.

No doubt, he made some big mistakes. He was not ready for the pressure campaign that was applied upon him, such as opening the new investigation on Hillary's emails that were found on Anthony Weiner's computer.

But, in my opinion, he is a man of integrity. He will probably look much better in the times ahead.

I don't know if anyone here could have withstood the pressure that was put on him by the House Committees and others? He knew something was wrong - he just didn't know what it was?

I have my suspicions that Muller MAY have found proof of that and Barr just placed the information in a volt. I don't think we saw all the evidence that was put together during the Muller investigation, there must be so much hidden.

I cannot dispute he is a man of integrity, but regarding your opinion about him not being able to cope with the pressure campaign? I don't buy that one, he is a grown up, a lawyer, he has to have understood the implications of what he did, I don't think he is one of those people who acts without considering all the consequences.
