Stinky 2 . . . I think it is time to recruit Never Trumpers and disaffected Republican strategists

Our messaging, to put it nicely, SUCKS.

Our strategies have not been working.

I hear a lot from Never Trumpers and just plain GOP strategists, operatives, former thissers and former thatters who want Trump gone at least as badly as we do. Why are we not listening to them, asking them for advice, even for direct campaign involvement. Using this as simply one example, why isn't Steve Schmidt working for a campaign or even the DNC?

True enough, these people are unlikely to become Democrats, but it seems they have announced what is, for all intents and purposes, common ground with us right now.

We are in desperate straights. I have been guilty of feel-good cheering, as much as anyone. but that song seems overplayed right now.

WE NEED TO WIN. At whatever cost.

No purity test. Just fucking WIN.

because he signed on as an adviser to Howard Schultz about 9 months ago. He's sewn his liberal oats and now he's going back right wing.

10. I would not hire him, but would definitely retain him in an advisory role.

The guy is going to turn on us as soon as he is rid of Trump and toadie republicans. We should not show him our internal workings. But he has an enemy that is our enemy right now, so he can help us now and not be able to hurt us later.

If they have a high value target that they are after, they fire the missile and don't worry about innocents as long as they got who they were after. We go through great pains to make sure no innocents are harmed, and sometime let the bad guys live to do more damage.

such great outrage when we cross that imaginary line. Just for example, look at the outrage about Nancy Pelosi’s message tearing up the drivel filled ridiculousness of a speech.

I mean, the absolute audacity that anyone that voted for the cretin would lose their shorts about what Nancy did. There is such a double standard and Dems have contributed to that by being fair and nice for all this time. We must play on the field that’s in front of us or all may be lost.

And if we get mean, and we win, I won’t lose one wink of sleep.

Ohio needs to not be at the head of the line for primaries any more. Caucuses are fun, I guess, though many cannot participate. However Ohio screwed up in 2012 and again just now. Really, really screwed up.

Fun's over. Let a larger more diverse state lead the way, and maybe we'll still have our outstanding candidates of color still with us at this point.
