(41,832 posts)at 9 this morning. I'd rather watch episode after episode of those old shows I've already seen than to listen to Trump.
In fact I'm sick of political reporting altogether.

(22,756 posts)listening to it but I feel a sense of duty to keep track of what we are up against... if we don't get it together, we lose everything we love about the United States... I have no idea what we eventually do, but we better move fast and furious

(6,799 posts)I was a political junkie at one time. Had the news on all the time. Now the news never changes. The Idiot stammers and flat foots on just as he has done since the ride down the escalator. People cluck and duck about how awful he is and then everything continues as usual. I had no idea we were so powerless when faced with an idiot. I am watching reruns of Star Trek, Deep Space Nine. At least there was some integrity and truthfulness in their actions. I dont know if I care anymore. I will vote for our nominee but so far we are keystone copping it.

I mostly rely on DU posts and video clips to find out the most relevant things. What a time.

There are some wonderful thoughts in that poem. I often recommend it because it is not religious in theme, but respects the place of religion in many people's minds.
