I attended one of the 5 within 30 miles of my home and it was VERY ENERGIZED! This was my 27th protest in the past 3+ years and I have not heard so many cars honking horns before. Tonight's response was more than all the others combined. People are pissed off!
Only a few days ago there were ZERO protests organized in my area and only about 50 across the US, but by last night the numbers of events organized for today had grown to about 300! Thanks to all who participated and keep it up!
RESIST! Persist! Peace.
1. Had open heart surgery a couple months ago.
2. It's f--king BITTER COLD tonight in Vegas.
3. I did it all before, I'm too old now (the Women's March was great!)
4. I work again now after being retired.
Let these younger ones to it. That's all they seem to do. During our caucus training sessions,, of which I am one ALL the volunteers were over 50/60. Not a single millennial/young person. Yes, I am bitter...
NEVER BERNIE!!! Or we will lose badly...
Now - "Get off my dirt"! (I got rid of my lawn many years ago)...

(51,609 posts)I didn't know if I would make it due to my crappy body falling apart but today was pain free (yeah!). I hope I can attend more in the future....it helps me get my ya-ya's out.

(15,286 posts)at the county seat - only a couple dozen, but 4x more than the Trumperers could muster in a pretty red area. But we are not too far from Pittsburgh which probably drew some people there instead.
