Based on the actual crimes:
Campaign finance violation
Bribery
Extortion
Honest services fraud
Witness intimation

Pelosi and Schiff knew, going in, that, barring a miracle, McConnell would not let Trump be expelled. Impeachment served its intent: expose the criminal actions of Trump, showcase how McConnell and Barr are obfuscating the process, and leave a black mark on Trump's record going into the elections. Impeachment again would be counterproductive.

Additionally, it should be noted that the House wisely chose to keep the focus on procedural, rather than criminal violations. This meant that SDNY would be able to continue on criminal violations without potentially compromising evidence.

also called the foreign emoluments clause, is a provision of the U.S. Constitution (Article I, Section 9, Paragraph 8) that generally prohibits federal officeholders from receiving any gift, payment, or other thing of value from a foreign state or its rulers, officers, or representatives.

(They could get the prick on the emoluments clause)
