rear apartment window so I can keep an eye on it and this morning when I got out of bed at 5 am and
peeked out I saw that, as forecast, we'd had some snow during the night. The snow accumulated on vehicles but not on the ground so that's good since most people here have no idea how to drive in snow.

It's a solid-overcast day with a high of around 40 predicted and might rain too. Then in a few days we're projected to have highs around 60 again. That's typical this time of year as Mother Nature decides what She's doing.

update: At 11 am it's snowing for real, nice lazy flakes. Time to get out and about!

*Stormy Weather is also a song and movie that I enjoy so here's a few links: (note: there's more than one movie with the same title so beware)

1943 movie info: (I couldn't find any free streaming so suit yourself.)

Well, in December of 2005, the year we moved here, we had a real blizzard with 3-4 FEET of snow. abqtommy Feb 2020 #3

No tornadoes, no hurricanes...

I’m looking to move to New Mexico when my obligations here in RI are done.

But usually not that much. We get some high winds and flooding in low spots along the river but other than that not too much catastrophic weather. And at elevations over 5,000 feet we don't need to worry too much about sea level rise.

I like New Mexico. I'm still here after 15 years. Lots to choose from and even in a city like Albuquerque drivers are mainly polite.
