I live in NW Ohio. Yesterday day it was 54. We may set a new high record today. We've had about 10" inches of snow this whole snow season. We have abnormally low snowfalls for the past 6 years.
But there is no global warming...

(14,118 posts)storm system coming in with rain and snow. We've had a fairly "normal" winter here, as has my son
who lives in Upper Michigan. They've had over 200 inches of snow so far this winter and that's normal for them. It's interesting how some areas get hit hardest with "The Change".

(15,090 posts)While it isnt at all unusual to have a late winter false spring that fools you with a few balmy days, it is unusual not to have gotten out the snow shovels all winter.

We've done a major uncontrolled experiment on the climate of our home planet....
The extremes we are seeing this winter are climate change. It is due to "global" warming but it is more complicated for the dullard republicans to understand in simple terms because it could be extremely colder than normal next winter.

(4,916 posts)Going to be well above average for the next week and a half. We have has less than 2 inches of snow so far, total. February and March can be interesting around here but it has been very mild.
On a micro level I like it because I care for a few outdoor cats and I worry less this way. On a macro level it freaks me out.
