I’m not an attorney, but I’m pretty sure this would not hold up in a real court of law. He benefits from arguing in a way that will seemingly remain uncontested, and shame on the republican senators going along with this shaky tripe.

vote by more than 8 million. The voting machines which gave him the EC were hacked by Putin. There is no proof that he was duly elected. Why don't the House Managers bring this out to deflate the R argument??

BTW, lost by 3 million. "Voting machines hacked which gave him the EC" is your opinion - that's not establish fact (although it could be true), which is why the House Managers don't bring it up.

so there was "always an election". (the Constitution was only amended after Roosevelt, who had won 4 terms before he died at the beginning of his 4th, to include a term limit of 2 consecutive terms)

my blood boil because it's PBS and not FOX but the truth doesn't seem to matter to them. Also, Lisa D. just said that Garcia has been going on Spanish radio (or TV??) every night giving a commentary of events to the Spanish speaking electorate. This calms me down somewhat by being informed of how hard the House is working to do the right thing.

They ended at ~3 pm ET and went into "Morning Business" mode in the Senate (Roberts was dismissed), with Senators speaking for up to 10 minutes on any topic although all that spoke today did talk about the impeachment trial. They concluded at ~7 pm ET with Murkowski as the final speaker today, and will resume "Morning Business" at 9:30 am ET Tuesday 2/4/20, for more speeches until such time when they will adjourn to participate in the SOTU tomorrow night (to be held in the House chamber).
